Interior Design - How we work
Sit back and relax, whilst we plan and manage all aspects of your interior design project. We will look after every element of the process from creating the initial designs through to production and installation. We will keep you updated every step of the way, providing you with peace-of-mind that comes with a seamless and hassle-free process.
If you wish, we will work alongside your architect and contractors in collaboration, to refine the initial plans with a design aspect in mind. This will ensure that the foundations are in place to create the perfect space for you, right from the start.
Our interior design project management service uses our experience to unlock the full potential in every house. In the past, this has even resulted in clients who have fallen back in love with their home despite engaging us with the intention to sell.
When it comes to specifics, our interior design process follows a five-stage plan:
Stage 1: Initial Consultation
The first step is an Initial Consultation, in your home, where we will explore your needs and aspirations of your design, while taking into consideration your budget and timescales. We will also make you aware of our associated design fees.
Stage 2: In-Person Survey
Once you engage us to work on your project, our team of designers will attend a site visit to conduct a detailed survey of the space. This is an opportunity for you to discuss your brief in finer detail.
Stage 3: The Design Creation
We will produce designs based upon your brief and present these to you in the form of mood boards showing the luxurious fabrics, furniture and finishes we suggest, as well as a full breakdown of all costs involved. You will receive scaled floorplans and designs for bespoke joinery, supported by 3D rendered illustrations produced using our in-house CAD capabilities.
Please note that this stage of the process is in-depth and can take time, as each design is unique, and every element is handpicked to create a cohesive scheme.
Stage 4: The Production
Once the design has been approved, your project manager will commence with the production and execution of the project. They will coordinate and oversee all orders, suppliers and contractors to ensure that your project is running smoothly.
Stage 5: The Installation
We aim to install as much of the project as we can in the least amount of time, minimising disruption and maximising the impact of seeing the final design come into fruition. Implemented by our highly experienced team, the number of installation days will vary depending on the size and complexity of the project.
